"Two seconds ago you were yelling in my face that you didn't think it was possible to curb his violent impulses, and how I can't treat this as a learning moment, but you want me to deal with him and you want him to learn his lesson, and when I ask you to spell it out and tell me what you mean? You just double back to talking about what a skull-fucking, mass murdering monster he is, so that you don't have to say what you actually came here to say to me."

Because Fives might know that saying the actual word would be a direct line to conspiracy and demotion and never getting his deal, but everything about his approach to this sings to Rhys with the desire for retribution. Fives doesn't have the bearing of a warden and a colleague coming in search of a resolution or reassurance that his inmate will be safe. He's full of a red anger, and a sense of hatred and disgust that long predates this incident, and Rhys doesn't believe he'd be satisfied by anything short of a guarantee that Hux would suffer.

"So no, you didn't use your big boy words and ask for blood, but I hear you loud and clear, and you can go fuck yourself."
