[It takes a little bit for Xigbar to actually track Rhys down - it's not something he's had to do a lot, since coming to the Barge. But it's not like the ship is all that big, and sooner or later, Rhys will find Xigbar sliding up next to him and throwing a casual arm around his shoulder.

Unless, of course, he's in a cabin or somewhere else that happens to have restricted access, in which case Xigbar knocks instead, but either way, there's no avoiding him forever.]

[Rhys has already been bitten by a vampire since the end of the flood, so you'll have to forgive him a bit if his first reaction to that arm around his shoulders is to immediately jerk sideways, getting a small window of space between himself and Xigbar before he fully registers who it is beside him.

When he recognizes Xigbar, he calms down, a little. They aren't exactly best buddies, but he likes the guy well enough.]

Yup.

[There's a nod, easy as anything, and although it's pretty clear that Xigbar isn't going anywhere, he doesn't object to Rhys pulling away a little. The point is to talk, not make Rhys any more uncomfortable than he might already have been.]

I hear you've got one stripy demon's communicator.

Oh, that. How many people is he gonna send after me for that?

[Rhys relaxes visibly, now that he knows what the other man wants. Okay, you can keep your arm there.]

I don't have it anymore. Gave it to Hange yesterday.

[Sure, BJ had been the one to bring it up, but Xigbar had offered, rather than being more directly sent.
