Fives doesn't use the network to contact Rhys, he goes looking for the man in person once he leaves the infirmary. He wants to have words with the man responsible for that hut'uun, Hux, and he wants to do it face to face.
[Hux, clueless as to what Rhys has brought him, reluctantly opens the door. He doesn't look any better than when they left off, mostly due to his not-sleeping, and disbelief that Rhys isn't going to try and get locked into moral arguments with him.
He's also still in his stiff and uncomfortable-looking uniform, so.]
[Shortly after his fight with Bodhi, Hux is still in the library, waiting for the other to leave. He's not crying - that would be too much even for him - but he's tightly wound up, frustrated and unable to process what he's feeling in a way that makes sense.
When he remembers that he has a warden who is supposedly good at this sort of thing]
Friendship is a complete kriffing disaster and I hate this ship.

After the Admiral gets everyone back on the ship, Gortys goes back to looking for her friends and family. Rhys needs her help. And she hasn't seen him in all the time they'd been on the same island together.
She knocks at his door in the aforementioned 20 minutes, holding a book and like three cups of coffee for him.
Lark has never had much to do with Rhys, but he keeps track of who lives where and so he pounds on Rhys's door with his foot. His arms are busy holding Gortys.
Your motherfucking piece of shit boyfriend, my inmate, is a fucking psychopath, and you can't go to his apartment for a couple of weeks because I've rigged it with a periodically reoccurring EMP that's going to trigger whenever he has enough working electronics to set it off.
Also he's off cybernetics until he's good and sorry, do not let him in there. Have you got the key or does he have it?
YOU STILL GOT THAT KEY TO THE ROOM NEXT TO THE ENCLOSURE? YOU KNOW, THE TOP SECRET ONE THAT NO ONE NOTICED US OPENING BECAUSE RIGHT AFTER THAT I BLEW THE SHIP UP ACCIDENTALLY?
[The one under zero had some exciting stuff, but the SECOND one seems more suited to Bill's nefarious purposes right now.]
[ That's a cheerful looking Kepler, currently in his cabin and enjoying what looks like a cup of coffee. He's got the gravity on, and he's sitting at his desk with a few notebooks strewn around him.]
Don't worry. [ He flexes his hand in front of the camera. ] Everything's working fine. I just figured I'd come to you as I'm working on a little engineering project of my own.
Death by asphyxiation has Betelgeuse looking a little more blue than usual. He ends up in the infirmary, in the bed beside the person he killed.
All is mercifully quiet on the barge. For a few days, until with a wretched, wet-sounding gurgle cough, the demon spirit rolls to the side to spit up a bit of slimy ectoplasm.
"Holy crap." He mutters to himself, dropping down to lie flat on his back. "I feel terrible. What did I do? Did I go jogging?"
His eyes flick to the side of him, catching sight of Rhys' body, and then his entire head turns towards him.
Oh. That's right. He died again. Which, given the options, he prefers it to jogging. At least death is familiar.
Taura is on a circuit of the ship with an eye out for Ford, because he didn't show up for their usual Enclosure run, when she runs into Rhys coming out of his cabin.
She offers him a genuine smile despite her worries about a whole variety of people. "Hi, Rhys."
