Betelgeuse graduated in the middle of a panic attack and immediately went back to a world he couldn't survive in.

[He has some opinions about that.]

I guess? He's not really my type.

I started out being like, hey, you said all your friends are hurt and pissed off, but you didn't hurt me, so maybe I can help 'cause I can look at things from an outside perspective. Except now I'm kind of invested.

So now you're invested? What's your take?

I think he thinks everything is harder than he thought it'd be, and he thinks it's easy for everybody else and only hard for him, and that makes him feel kinda panicky and frustrated. I think he'll be okay if he sticks with it and doesn't give up.

-- He's emotionally worrying. Seeing him try new stuff is cute, though.

He's just really new at it all, and stuffed into the body of someone who looks like he should have been doing it for thirty years.

He's actually been like-- doing weirdly good, since he graduated? Like, in terms of growing up fast, life lessons, all that good stuff.

Tiff, one thing that you do not need to worry about, is whether or not I praise Betelgeuse a lot. Saying nice things about him is like my part time job.

[His other part time job is calling him a dumb asshole, but Betelgeuse likes that.]
